What you'll learn

Our Pilates Comprehensive Course will teach you how to:

  • Cue effectively
  • Apply touch techniques
  • Learn workout composition for personal and group training
  • Develop dynamic programmes in a studio environment
  • Put theory into practice and identify the correct postural analysis during movement
  • Learn a fully comprehensive list of exercises plus modifications for specific body types, postural issues and conditions
  • Use of specific equipment to enhance, support and intensify strength and flexibility exercises
  • Use small props to enhance torso stability and strength and for peripheral extremity conditioning, flexibility, joint stability, balance & coordination
  • Communicate effectively and develop amazing observational skills
  • Create effective verbal cues and imagery for performance enhancement and client motivation
  • Create beginner, intermediate and advanced powerful workouts
    layer exercise in order to create an effective programme for the student
  • Develop dynamic programmes in a pilates studio environment, greet clients and modify exercises for people with injuries

pre-requisites

  • Before accessing our certification programmes, students must have knowledge of basic human anatomy and kinesiology, delivered through our Functional Anatomy Course (or another recognised functional anatomy course) 20 hours of prior Pilates mat training (or Studio training for the Pilates Comprehensive) and current CPR / First Aid certifications preferred. Students must also be reasonably fit and active.
  • The Functional Anatomy course must be finished within 2 years prior to the commencement of the certification courses.
