AHA Workshop

AI & Standards

in Pilates Education

For Pilates Teachers, Studio Owners and Teacher Trainers.

Join Anita Horry Academy for a timely, practical and standards-led workshop on AI in Pilates education. Learn how to use AI wisely, protect your professional judgement, and create clearer boundaries for your teaching, studio or education setting.

AI is already changing the Pilates industry. The question is no longer whether Pilates professionals will use AI. The real question is whether they will use it responsibly.

This Anita Horry Academy workshop helps Pilates teachers, studio owners and educators understand how to use AI without weakening professional standards, scope of practice, client trust, or the integrity of Pilates education.

Why us

Use AI with confidence without compromising your standards.

AI can help you write faster, organise ideas, create systems, prepare materials, and communicate more clearly.

But AI can also make unqualified work sound polished.

It can make weak reasoning sound authoritative.

It can create the illusion of expertise where real knowledge, observation and professional judgement are missing.

For Pilates professionals, this matters.

Because our work is not just about good wording.

It is about real bodies, real students, real clients, real responsibility, and the standards that protect the credibility of our profession.

This workshop gives you a clear, practical framework for knowing where AI can support your work, where it needs qualified review, and where it must never replace human judgement.

AI & Standards in Pilates Education

What you need
to know

This workshop is designed for Pilates professionals who want to stay current without losing the depth and integrity of the work.

It is especially relevant for:

  • Pilates teachers who are already using AI and want to use it more responsibly
  • Pilates teachers who feel unsure, overwhelmed or cautious about AI
  • Studio owners who want clearer boundaries for staff, systems, marketing and client communication
  • Teacher trainers who want to protect educational standards, assessment integrity and student learning
  • Mentors and assessors who need clearer language around AI use in teacher training
  • Pilates professionals who care about standards, safety, scope of practice and the future of the method

If you want to benefit from AI without allowing it to dilute your teaching, your credibility or your professional judgement, this workshop is for you.

Pilates has already seen what happens when speed is valued over depth.

Weekend certifications.

Cheap online qualifications.

Polished marketing that promises more than the training can support.

Teachers being encouraged to sound professional before they have developed the competence to teach with confidence.

AI is accelerating that problem.

It can generate beautiful language, convincing explanations, professional-looking handouts, lesson plans, policies, captions, programmes and even assessment-style material.

But polished does not mean accurate.

Fast does not mean safe.

And professional-sounding content does not equal professional competence.

This workshop helps you avoid one of the biggest risks AI brings into Pilates: mistaking polished output for real knowledge.

By the end of this workshop, you will be able to look at AI through a much clearer professional lens.

You will understand:

  • Where AI can genuinely save time and support your work
  • Where AI-generated material needs qualified review
  • Where AI creates risks around safety, privacy, scope of practice and professional judgement
  • Why AI must never replace observation, reasoning, assessment or responsibility
  • How to protect your teaching voice, your professional authority and your standards
  • How to apply the 5A Framework™ to real Pilates situations
  • How to decide whether an AI use is safe, questionable or inappropriate
  • How to create stronger boundaries for your own teaching, studio or education setting
  • This is not about being afraid of AI.
  • It is about becoming more discerning.

AI may be helpful for:

  • Drafting first versions of emails, captions or newsletters
  • Organising your own notes and ideas
  • Creating outlines from educator-owned material
  • Improving the structure of onboarding documents
  • Supporting admin systems and communication
  • Repurposing verified teaching material into different formats
  • Saving time on non-clinical, non-assessment-based tasks
  • Used carefully, AI can be a useful assistant.
  • But only when the teacher, educator or studio owner remains in charge.

AI must not replace:

  • Teaching judgement
  • Client assessment
  • Clinical reasoning
  • Scope-of-practice decisions
  • Contraindication decisions
  • Progression or regression for complex bodies
  • Student pass/fail decisions
  • Certification sign-off
  • Professional responsibility
  • The person using AI remains accountable for what is shared, taught, published or approved under their name.
  • That is the line this workshop helps you see clearly.

Standards are not about sounding impressive.

They are about protecting the quality and responsibility behind the work.

In this workshop, we look at standards through:

  • Educational depth
    Professional judgement
    Assessment integrity
    Ethics and scope of practice
    Accountability and public trust
    Studio and programme governance

In Pilates, standards directly affect client safety, student learning, staff consistency, teacher confidence and public trust.

AI may support systems and communication.

But it must never replace the standards that define the profession.

Taught by Anita Horry

Anita Horry brings more than 20 years of experience in Pilates education, teacher training and professional standards. Her work is rooted in Classical Pilates lineage, educational depth, accountability and the responsibility teachers carry when working with real bodies. This workshop is not taught from the perspective of “AI tricks” or quick content hacks. It is taught from the perspective of standards.

in Pilates, the question should never be only: Can AI do this? The deeper question is: Should AI do this and who remains responsible if it is wrong?

Get started now!

The 5A Framework™

At the heart of this workshop is Anita Horry Academy’s 5A Framework™ for responsible AI use in Pilates education and studio practice.

This framework gives you a practical way to assess AI use before it damages your standards, credibility or professional responsibility.

1. Authenticity

Is the AI supporting knowledge you genuinely own, understand and can teach?

Or is it making you sound more experienced than you really are?

2. Accuracy

Has the information been checked by a qualified human?

Or are you trusting AI to preserve facts, context, evidence and nuance on its own?

3. Application

Is AI being used for the right task?

Or has it moved from support into substitution?

4. Accountability

Who is responsible for the final decision, message, handout, policy, programme or assessment?

Hint: it is never the AI.

5. Alignment

Does this use of AI support the values of Pilates education?

Or does it reward speed, shortcuts and surface-level authority?

The 5A Traffic-Light Test

You will also learn how to apply the AHA traffic-light test to real Pilates situations.

Green

AI is supporting the work without replacing knowledge, responsibility or professional judgement.

Amber

AI may help, but it needs qualified review, clearer boundaries and human sign-off.

Red

AI is undermining safety, judgement, authenticity or standards.

This gives teachers, studio owners and educators a simple decision-making tool they can use immediately.

Instead of asking whether AI is “good” or “bad”, you will learn to ask:

What level of risk does this use create?

Downloadable AI Standards Action Form

Participants receive a downloadable AI Standards Action Form to help apply the workshop content directly to their own teaching, studio, or education setting.

The form helps you identify where AI is currently being used, where qualified review is needed, what boundaries should be in place, and how to apply the 5A Framework™ responsibly in your own professional practice.

Certification

Once you have completed the course you will obtain a Certificate of Attendance’ with 3 PMA CEC points.

AI & Standards in Pilates Education

Protect your teaching, your credibility and the future of the method.

AI is here. But it should not lower the standards of Pilates education. This workshop will help you use AI with more clarity, confidence and professional responsibility, so you can benefit from modern tools without allowing them to replace the knowledge, judgement and care that Pilates teaching requires. If you are a Pilates professional who wants to stay current while protecting the integrity of your work, this workshop gives you the framework to do exactly that.
