Functional Anatomy

This short course in functional anatomy has been created as a supplemental learning aid for students currently enrolled in the anatomy component of either the AHA Pilates Matwork Certification or the AHA Pilates Comprehensive certification.

Pilates Matwork

Our 150-hour Classical matwork course uses the historical document written by Joseph Pilates himself – “Return to Life” as a document of reference for both the sequence and the instructions, but works this alongside the teachings of both first generation Pilates Elders as well as an appreciation of current bio-mechanics.

Pilates Comprehensive

A 12-month long Teacher Certification Programme which equips the student with practical and theoretical skills needed to become a Pilates Teacher of the highest standards. The programme develops the students’ ability to learn the whole repertoire from Beginner to Advanced level whilst working on the Mat, Cadillac, Reformer, Chairs, Barrels and small equipment.
